The Yeppoon Running Festival incorporates 5 distances to cater for all levels of runners - which includes a family friendly 1.6km Family Fun Run on Saturday Afternoon.

This is one of the fastest regional races in Queensland and the only Marathon in Central Queensland. The new courses are fast and flat with reduced lap numbers or simple out and backs pending your chosen race distance. You will start and finish in the heart of Yeppoon allowing you to soak in the atmosphere and crowds along the main strip as you loop through. While you’re there, take a look around as you’ll see many of the local attractions as you run along the foreshore. You will make your way along the beach until you veer a little inland through some lush greenery. Whether you enjoy the hustle and bustle or peaceful tropical forestry, we’ve got you covered.

Keeping our 5 Distances to cater for all and moving to July to maximise the perfect running conditions in Central Qld, fast and flat looped course starting on the Yeppoon Foreshore, Anzac Parade, ensuring a supporter and family friendly race for participants.

Online Entries close 26th July at 4:00PM. (May close earlier if full)

 Manual Entries at bib collection on Saturday the 27th July are not guaranteed and will be at the discretion of the Race Director, subject to numbers closing prior to the event.

Saturday 3pm - 1.6km Family Fun Run - All Ages

Sunday:
6:00am - 42km Marathon - Age groups 16-19,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59 and 60+

6:25am - 21km - Age groups 16-19,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59 and 60+

6:45am - 10km - 12-14,15-19,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59 and 60+

8:15am - 5km - Under 10, 10-14,15-19,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59 and 60+ 
All ages calculated as of Race Day.
